Mmm, based. Keychron Q6 Max as well, and looking for new switches, so this is appreciated. -- (DJGraco): Keychron q6 max + kailh box white v2 on letters + gateron ink black v2 on function keys --
So second try. Since all of my keyboards are here with me now, I can show them all. So of course the first one is my built-in laptop keyboard, which sounds like this.
Yeah, I have a Logitech K380, which is cracking a bit, but still works, but I showed it.
Yeah, it sounds like this.
Okay.
Okay.
Apart from this keyboard, I have yet another Logitech, but before the other Logitech, I would like to show my Keychron, which sounds like this.
Okay.
Yeah, and I have yet another Logitech, but this is a full-size keyboard.
I haven't used it in ages, but it exists.
I don't know where is its USB dongle.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Here in the keyboard.
It's in the keyboard.
Cool.
But yeah, I haven't used this Logitech in ages, but it sounds like this.
Oh, I should use it more.
It's actually cool.
I don't know.
Yeah, so it's the other Logitech, I can put them away, but yeah, these are the keyboards
I have.
The default brown switches that came with the Keyboard, but I'm looking to upgrade them as well as the keycaps. I need a more tactile bump, this one feels to undefined imo. And while they keycaps feel not bad, I think you can get a nicer, more polished feeling. -- (DJGraco): Jonathan, which switches do you have currently? --
@Jonathan, ach, okay. I actually really like the stock keycaps on the Q6 Max, but that's a matter of taste. What profile would you be interested in?
Maybe Akko Creamy Purple V2 or TTC Bluish White? I've never tried the latter, but they have good reviews. In reality, everyone has their own preferences and has to go through the process of choosing switches themselves. At first, I bought Gateron Melodic switches, which I didn't like at all, and now they're just sitting around waiting to be sold. On the other hand, Kailh Box White V2 was a perfect choice for me. On the function keys, Ctrl, Alt, Shift, arrow keys, etc., I use INK Black V2 linear switches because, for me, they offer fast response times and aren't as loud as the Whites when I'm browsing something at night. When I'm not typing much, I don't press the keys hard, so they're quiet enough. But personally, for the letter keys, I wouldn't replace them with anything else. They have to be clicky.
Alright, so this is only going to be Bono for now because I haven't set up my other microphone, but this is still the Keychron Q6 Max with BSUN Strawberry Cheesecake R2 switches, which, yeah, sounds like this.
Okay, so this is the Keychron Q6 Max with BSUN Strawberry Cheesecake R2 switches, which, yeah, sounds like this.
Comparing this to the stock brown switches in post 9, these sound a bit more tocky imo. As for the feel, they're way more fsmooth. The bump isn't as defined as I thought, mainly because they're also harder to press down, but I guess I'll get used to it, a great upgrade over the default ones for sure.
Okay, so this is my, um, actually, I don't know what keyboard this is. I used to have a Razer, uh, Razer keyboard, but, um, that one got a little bit old.
Um, and it had wear. Uh, so, this is my, um, I don't know what it's called. This is another blue switch keyboard I got off, uh, uh, Amazon, and this is how it sounds.
There you go.
