Vibe coding, as you call it, definitely has potential and is workable with. I have created many different things with it and it never really failed me.

i mean, i developed a symple python program for telling me what ports were open on my computer, then you could force shut them down. greate if you are beeing hacked, hence why i created it. if anyone is interested, i can send you the file. that is, how ever, if the default elten file size supports it, at only, flipping 4mb.

vibe coding is the future. I've created some good things with it. For example, coding a browser based game in the firebase studio which is now gon, but my real project which was published for public was a telegram bot. It indexed files stored in a telegram channel of mine to users, then when users clicked on the files, it dm's it to them. I started with file ID's. But, it started getting messy easily. So I used something different. I forgot what I used, but it also got messy fast. So in the end, me and grok came into a conclusion that we need to use sql for these things. It created an sql database which indexed the files and did all the heavy lifting. In the start I hosted it on command prompt. Then I found a gentleman who agreed to host it for free. But, vibe coding also has it's bad sides. You can burn out easy. In my little coding trip of 5 6 days, what I basically did was, go to school, come from school and spend hours on fixing those assink errors or those callback errors. Even prompting became exhausting after a few days. Then that gentleman on telegram stopped hosting my bot, changed there identity, and boom. I deleted every coppy of the src, and discontinued the project. So whatit tell's is, AI is really progressing hard. If I had started doing this project before ai started, I literally had 2 options. Learn coding myself, or pay a coder who already learnt coding to build my bot. But, with AI, people who are patient, people who don't want to dive in endless documentations, people who don't want to read "I just maid a mistake in this code. Find it" can build. Don't know what to write anymore.

Can we just look at the first few posts in this topic, including post 1, and write this down somewhere (maybe even give it to an llm) and use this as a book example on how not to do it?
Post 1: I think what you tried to do here is get a group of beta testers or something, because that would be the consequence of people pm'ing you about your entertainment center program. How ever you wrote it so wague that it sounded like the program was complete or so but you only publish it to people that ask you in pm, which is weird and in fact not what this forum is for.
Post 2 is more discouraging then it has to be tbh
And things like post 6 just don't belong in a public forum.
What the hell people, just what the hell.
