So, as it currently stands, there is no prohibition on the discussion or mentioning of games suspected of being clones. Only the distribution and requesting thereof. In other words, Aiden did absolutely nothing wrong by simply mentioning that he plays Blood War.
Now, at this time the rules of Elten English follow the ones that we inherited from Dash, and we will follow them, however, the ethos set out by Matthew and I still stand. We encourage, as far as possible, within the constraints of the law and basic human civility, the right of our users to discuss on a range of topics freely without official scorn or sanction from the Administration. However, in order to enjoy the right to exercise that freedom, the onus too, is incumbent on the rest of users to engage in good faith with others.
I'm not saying that you should leave something you disagree with unchallenged or without comment, or that a snarky comment here or there is against the rules and will get you punished, but, I think at this point we've seen a great deal of unnecessary teasing regarding people's personal choice to play clones, and the posts doing so often have very little substance. Let people be. Aiden made a passing comment answering the OP. You don't like clones, and that's good for you. The topic title wasn't about your personal preferences about whether or not you like clones, the title was asking what games people play. And if that should include clones, then so be it. Just so long as nobody distributes the means by which they can get that clone, such as the instillation package or website.

On another point of order, @George_Wu, I am very disappointed in you. No official punishment handed out but I agree with the overall view that posts saying I agree, yeah, etc, don't add much to the conversation, and especially since you often quote what you're saying I agree to, an argument can be made that you're violating rule 1.5. I'm just expecting a little more courtesy.

I'm no guard or whatever. I think as an adult dude should go by the forum standards, whether he'd then go ahead and take his autism as excuse for it or not.
Now. "I agree" posts just add a lot of unneeded clutter. When I at least, probably many more, press tab, we expect to see posts with content. This is not a discord chat channel, whatsapp channel, or anything else. This should be, in my standpoint, a constructive forum with an actual discussion in mind. Utelise the features given folks, it won't mean your death.

this is only my opinion, no one will stop people from playing what they want, by this I mean yes people can say the x game is a clone but people will play the x game if they want to and again my opinion only nothing wrong with playing something if is fun and you chat with people etc.

agreed. I personally dont give one shit if a game is a clone. if a forum says you cant share clones, I wont, but personally, if a game is good the status on if its a clone, I dont care about at all.
