So I've heard from the gratevine that iOS 26 is in beta, and its kind of laggy to say the least, and for those that can see a little, you guys will start to see a kind of translusent background with the liquid ass I mean glass design, in otherwords iOS vista or macOS vista or even iPadOS vista. Lol! But has it bricked any of yalls devices? Yet

The term bricked is loosing it's meaning. What exactly do you mean with bricked? For me bricked is the device is broken forever and it can't be fixed yourself. That didn't happen to me. However, after the update my VoiceOver voice got deleted so I had only the clicking sounds and no speech. I had to ask a sighted person to change back the voice to the default compact Anna voice.

Its an early beta, of course it'll be buggy.

I would highly recommend not upgrading to the first beta. Luckily, I put it on a secondary device, so the loss of half the VoiceOver voices didn't affect me too hard. To fix it, I had to use my phone camera to scan the screen and fittle around wth it for a little bit.
Off the spinner, to the skinner, it chops off layers, now I'm thinner.

beta 2 came out so it j\should be a lot smoother now, but still.

Stuff is a lot smoother in the second vursion, not as many bugs as I expected in the first beta though.

so even the latest beta is crashing some peoples devices, because I heard that some people got there devices in to recovery mode. just prooves how liquidy this new design is, or to some extent to those that can even notice it, I just use voiceover anyway so.

but hopefully the public beta reduces the lags, I mean I've been having voiceover crashing issues since iOS 16 but it's not as bad , but its mainly do to the storage being low I think cause at the time of posting I have 57.something gb out of 64gb. and btw im still on 18.3 until I can find a way to upgrade to 18.6 beta as the update takes around 17gb to install

I've backed up everything any ways, so I should be good.

Do you people who run the beta actually bug report? Or do you just get it for getting it sake?

I think the biggest issue I seen so far is with Low Power Mode. The device doesn't become unusable, it just likes to freez a lot of the time.

oh, and another issue I've seen, or heard, with some people, is with group chats, iMessage or SMS, because 1, it doesn't show how many people and the name anymore it shows a image of a silhouette instead. And then theirs the issue where you cannot remove people, 2. Which means you need a older device for that. I sent feedback to apple about it, so they should hopefully fix that. If not and they don't fix the issues mentioned, I'm gunna weight until there is a later version of the OS when they do so...

LMAO dude. Stop talking and acting like this is production ready software. It's not. You're not meant to run this on your main device, you're supposed to run this on a secondary device of some kind.

Except for the fact that when you run a beta version of android on your main device, you are going to get waaay less errors and problematic stuff. It's not bug free either, (I'm mostly looking at you, Hyper OS, yeah), but what Apple is doing with its system these last few years for the money you pay them is everything but not acceptable.
