Stepping down as administrator.
Wróć do Contact with the administration#1 Jacobww3

Thank you, I am glad to be the new administrator. I will continue where Jacob left off, running the community and will soon be forming a moderation team, which will consist of some existing moderators and some new people that I trust to help run this alongside me. As Jacob said, he is staying on the moderation team. More info will follow soon as I establish the team and form a plan.

I miss my words.

LOL.

Do you think it was the best idea to tell this in a voice post?
"As I watch this generation try to rewrite history, one thing I'm sure of is that it will be misspelled and have no punctuation."
#6 alchappers
Well, he probably found it easier to speak about it rather than type. I don't judge people on whether they prefer talking over typing.
#7 marchoffmann
Now Arctics right though, actually! It also sounds really unprofessional and annoying with all of those um's and erm's and what not, I was speeding it up by a lot.
#8 marchoffmann
Those few sentances?

You're modding an English forum, you'd think that the mods would have the ability to put to pen and paper their thoughts and stances.
#10 marchoffmann
To be fair though, Elten has lost it's respect and appreciation, as well as it's development months ago. So what to even expect.
#11 alchappers
Not all the mods are purely using voice messages, so there's no need to use Jacob's audio post to continue to bash the moderation, especially since I will be doing everything I can to make the community better. Let's work together on building the community back to being a good place, rather than fighting and bashing everyone over stupid things.
#12 Louisa
Good luck Jacob, and all that.
#13 Alexis930
Listen hear. I would give the new admin a chance. Yes, we might make mistakes, as it is human nature, but don't go bashing mods. I know it must have been hard for the former admin to admit he was steping down in front of this entire community.
#14 alchappers
I fully agree with your statement, that must have been really hard to do. Let's all do our best to bring this community into a positive light.
#15 ArcticMoon
Except the fact this is an official announcement.

To be honest I don't even know why he stepped down because I'm too lazy to listen to the voice post, and I guess I'm not alone.

Pajper advised him to hand over the responsibility to someone else, and I stept up to offer to take over for him. He is gonna stay as a moderator, and I am forming a moderation team.
#18 mattcurtis3
I'm 1 of the mods on the team actually, and I'll handle this community with care, so hello to a new chapter in this place.

Funny how everyone needs to have that as a signature, is it so important to show off that you think you have power? And who's this random alexus something dude? Never seen him.
#20 rudolf
HAHAHA exactly my thoughts. This is getting beyond a redicolous point.
