I'm using Nhost/hostero, almost highest option from the options there. there were a lot of problems with them before but they had stabilized.

Dude honestly you don't have room to talk here if we read any of the previous posts. Don't act like you knew it for such a long time, and if you must, at least be somewhat helpful. But yes, Contabo is shit, overselling their servers, and you should consider switching, to where depends on your budget and needs.

Well, not having issues tends to do that. When you’re not having problems with something, it’s easy to think it’s fine.

That's a fair point, I didn't have issues either. But yeah you should consider switching as Contabo is overselling.

If you don't care about the budget/need a small but very rellyable Linux VPS check out UpCloud, I like their control pannel and social media representation, well I guess you could also call it branding. If you decide to go with them feel free to pm cuz I could give a referal for 50€. If not, Hetzner seems also fine I guess.

Upcloud is indeed very good, I agree. Although my server is pretty small and I don't host large projects, I'm satisfied with Upcloud.

Yup, especially it's set and forget. Thanks to a referal I'm not paying for the cheapest server which hosts my TT and Miniflux for like a half year. And it's still awesome quallity. So chill.

hmm. you could try hetzner, netcup, OVH, up cloud, linode, vultr, those are my suggestions. using netcup personally. if you would like some money off, they have a referral program that I'm in. I think we both get some kind of discount for life. if interested, dm me

I think I'm going to try netcup

I use netcup and i am verry happy with that.

I used Upcloud, Vultr and still using Hetzner. I can say that I like Hetzner because of the interface but also the uptime and the quality. What I don't like is that they charge you hourly and I am searching something to pay one time monthly what you guys recommend? I could use upcloud because there you add credits to your account and they not charge you hourly, but I think I can get better resources at a lower price.

Jonathan

#96 ·

Huh, where is the problem? Hetzner does provide prices for hours, but obviously they only charge you once per month? UpCloud does also provide hourly prices.

mafia2

#97 ·

no, I mean they charge the card every hour for services from my understanding not monthly

Jonathan

#98 ·

No, that would be crazily stupid for everyone involved and is not happening. I'm using Hetzner and can tell you that is not the case.

mafia2

ow, then I understood wrong. So they charge monthly for everything, got it now
