P2W? Excuse me but WTF do you W there? It's just for some nice to have features but if you call that P2W please never start playing anything slightly mainstream related.

@21, it was already hard for me to take you seriously, but this just shattered what little confidence I had left in you. I don't think you know what P2W means.
But maybe I'm the idiot here. Can you enlighten us as to how SBYW is P2w?

I don't want to hurt your feelings or anything, but just because you are an admin there, the game isn't immune to criticism.
On the other hand, I have no idea how a simple builder can be p2w, it would be good to get an explanation of somesort. What can you buy there for real money and what kind of advantages do those items give you? How much those things cost?
If you link to the official site of the game, of course if it has one, it's already enough.

sbyw.games. TBH it should give you enough info to determine on yourself. It's nothing that gives you big advantages in terms of winning especially over/against another player. It are nice perks you can get if you want to build some certain things and some items you could literally get without paying as well.

@24, I never said the game was immune from criticism. but the claim he made, by any metric at all is simply ridiculous. First of all, SBYW is a game where you explore/build, meaning there is no definitive win condition, and you don't need paid items to complete maps. In fact, most maps disable the usage of items like shoes and hooks, which can be purchased with ingame currency btw.
I guess there are some perks in terms of building that you get via paying like the passages, which is fair, but for starters, those features are not critical, and B, you could always ask someone to help you out, which I've seen done on multiple occasions.
And last, the payment model is really disadvantageous in terms of the dev. You pay 12 dollars and you get all of the features forever, even new ones. It's not a subscription, you don't have to pay for upgrades etc. So, I stand by what I said.
Criticism is fine spreading lies isn't.

Yeah, I get it now. Checked the website as well and yeah, it doesn't seem to be pay to win.

Polish folks told me it was nearly impossible to play even in polish, it had so many spelling errors and flaws that even for a native it was garbage.
Back to the topic though, what are we playing online nowadays? Thinking about getting back into WOW but to be honest the interface of retail is too clunky for me. As well as I'm planning to give Erion a second chance.

Hm, what about blades of glory? Does it still work and does anyone play it?

Meh. I don't want to be a nibble nerd to play. It's way to silly.
@Arctic, I also played a bit of erion in the summer. The only thing is, after you finish that cave with kinda your first main quest, there's no hint on what to do. There are thousands of areas to explore, which is kind of cool but I got a bit lost in what I should start with and what I can do where I am now.
Also, I thought the wow support ended cuz bro didn't have energy to develop it anymore? Or did someone else pick it up.

I lost my faith in it after it was about to shut down with aproval by some random beta testers such as Alex Chapman and co, but 2 of the 4 Admins (including me at this time) have been overgone and not even asked. I don't wanna invest my time in such a project, neither spend playtime just for the game to go down because motivation is gone for a bit and dev thinks noone plays because they don't see anyone online at the time. Like there are timezones you know? So yeah idk. It was fun now and then, especially the duels, but yeah it's not something I could spend hours with. That's just me. not trying to downtalk the game or saying it is bad generally...

Yeah classic is kinda done now, although there were and still are trials and fails to implement the features of other mods.
In terms of Erion, yeah, that's true. I like the game for it being somewhat open world, but on the other hand I agree, it's pretty frustrating when you have no clue on what to do.
Does any of you play Alter aeon?

I used to, yes. Stopped after a bit cuz funny enough, this was just a bit boring after a bit, I miss the multy player in early levels and there are just lots of quests and quests and quests and it got a bit overwelming on that, so I felled like I didn't do anything else than that. But it's a good mud. Maybe should give it a 2nd chance with a brand new char, what do I know.

Ps: I'm glad I never subscribed to classic tbh. This is the thing. Mods arn't garanteed to last, so blasting money into these games isn't to smart of an idea imho.

I am starting to get back into hearthstone, hopefully the new expanchen makes the game fun other wize i'm quitting for a nother year. Sounds like for blades the dev has the modivation now and in a few updates it should be in a good spot if anyone has any feedback let me know as I test for the game and actualy contribute.
I realise I know little compared to what all is true, I try to think, and the one thought I can no longer be swaid on is that god is very real. That being the case I will try to live in accordence to the way christ intends for us to act. Time to give up the weel.
