Wróć do Contact with the administration

Perhaps at this point you're stepping to far. Many members from the moderation team have autism. I don't say that's responsible to put in so many autism persons in a such important position for many members but I never attempted to attack them due something which they have no fault at. Everyone has their strenghtnesses and weaknesses and just because cannot or doesn't like to type as the other does this is not really a reason to basically yell at them. I don't like voice posts either especially if they are not available described or transcripted, and especially in such as an area as the administration forum, but yeah it sounded a bit harsh in my ears - might I however be wrong since that seems to be your casual writing style.

If you aren't able to write a single text post or announce anything at an apropriate place you just suck as Staff.
I recently listened through the introductions topic to find out Jakop said something about, yeah we plan to archive all topics older than 2022. Urm, guess you should write that somewhere else than in the fucking introductions topic in a voice message? Like, it's just so redicolous you couldn't care less at this point.
But I also think it's extremely embarassing how the higher Staff like our favorite Elten developer who encourages people to help him develop on Elten on his GH but then hasn't pushed to it in ages don't do anything because they are as planless as a bread.

Archiving all topics older than 2022 or whatever year makes no sense because after a few years someone may need to rewive it. It's Another way to do this group dying more xD.

we were also having a discussion about a new mod and Jacob was like well what if McKenzie doesn't like him? It took way too many tries to understand the fact that if McKenzie is making her personal issues with someone get in the way of administrating a platform that maybe you shouldn't be an administrator

Yes, it's very hard to make Jacob understand simple things. It might be just his personality, but as I saw yesterday, it also can be an issue. I'm not saying he has problems or disabilities other than his blindness, but his mind doesn't work like ours, that's for sure. We kept explaining only, only one thing for half an hour, and he still didn't understand. He got what we mean when we explained it the easiest way, saying simple, short words and phrases.

Here's the thing. If you ask Jacob, George or any of them how they're doing, they;'ll say that they're doing a good job, and objectively, they'd be correct. They're cleaning out the forums, everything's running smoothly, and aside from the staff changes nothing bad has happened. (YET)
And that's exactly the problem.
Everything is all cupcakes and rainbows until it isn't, and that's when the weakness of the current staff will be on full display. None of them are equipt to handle any kind of emergency or crisis. That's just a fact. Mckensie, Alex and George all clearly have issues handling conflict, and that's nothing personal against them, people deal with conflict, and some not at all, but from an administrative perspective you have to, and again, none of them have the composure nor the fortitude to handle any serious crisis.
So why am I saying this? The forum will be fine for now. It'll keep running smoothly, but if anyone were to come on here and be a pest, or any other problem or issue were to come up, it would be the end of Elten English.
It's sad to say that but it's just the reality. And as far as I'm concerned, we only got here purely out of spite. None of these guys were meant to be mod. The community wasn't meant to be falling apart like this. There was a chance of unity about a year ago, but because of hubris we're here. In other words, the problems we face now are purely self-inflicted, and it's laughable to me to see the people who pulled the trigger inflicting those wounds in this very thread opining about the decline when they actively caused it.
So, while we're here pointing fingers at Jacob or Pajper or whoever, some of you might want to look in the mirror first.
So, let's see where the staff take us.
Jacob, despite all I wrote, I wish you best of luck. Maybe you can turn the community around.

I can't help wondering, why isn't this forum just shut down. I hardly come on here anyway. I'm saying this because people keep on repeating the same stuff over, and over, and we are stil going round in circles. No one is satisfied. This forum is like some very long running soap opra.

Actually, I don't have issues with dealing with conflict, I used to perhaps not respond in the best way, but I have learnt from that, so to everyone here, don't reply with but you did it in this time, or that time, or you did this at insert time here, because that is irrelevant. I, as a mod, will respond accordingly and professionally, enough said about my capabilities thank you very much, all of us on the team are doing everything we can, and even if I don't agree with some of the stuff that has happened in terms of a certain person being added to the team, I am not gonna start crap.

And I just wanna say, about the closing/archiving of old threads, it actually does make sense, if someone needs to discuss a similar thing years down the line, there's nothing wrong with a new thread being made since the old thread probably solved any problem/question said person had, so if the need for that specific topic to be revived was to occur, it would make more sense for it to be in a new thread anyway.

What I find most amusing is that people complained so much about my moderation and my team. Now the same people are coming back after a long time claiming that it could have been done worse xD.

I'm sure we were way better than this XD yeah we also had mistakes, and I wouldn't moderate this platform again even for money, but still.

You got the feetback that noone except your team need this archivisation but you did it anyway. What the? Really awesome work to totally destroy this group to the end.

You was the one who stepped down but yeah think that way I'm not one to dictate that. Come on man you act like we took a school project that you were working on and smashed it to bits in the night. But you were like no no I'm done being admin. I'm sorry for my harshness but that's just what I have to say.

Not exactly you, but Jacob and George. They really took a school project and smashed into bits in a few days, you explained it right.

On the other hand, is it professional for a moderator to behave like that? Oh, I forgot there are people who can't control their actions, yes.

@59 is perhaps the most ironic thing I've read for 2025.
