I'm Kirill, online better known as Cyrmax. I'm 24, almost 25 years old.
I'm from Russia, Saint-Petersburg, if more precisely.
I work in VK as an accessibility specialist, do some programming in my free time and also play a lot.
I'm a big fan of Hungarian language so if there's someone who speaks it or also learns, would be cool to establish a conversation.
As you can see, my English is not the best, it was better when I was about 18 years old. Then I practiced a lot, had many language partners, spent several hours every day talking only in English and even read some books in English.
Now unfortunately I have nobody to talk with, especially in real time, I mean voice chats, calls or at least voice messages.
All my English practice now is reading of documentation and logs, so yes, my English degrade every day.

And what games are you playing atm?

I do test UIs of VK apps and websites, write recommendations and directives for developers about what and how to fix, test their fixes, etc.
Also we do some accessibility education stuff, like conferences, internal courses for developers, testers and designers.

And about games, I play Hearthstone battlegrounds a lot, recently returned to alteraeon and stellaraeon a little bit. Sometimes play factorio but I rather experiment than play and achieve something.

I dipped a year or so ago because it was seemingly in a state of developmental pause in which nothing appeared to be happening, in fact I'd heard that the developer had returned to college and was going to be inactive because of that? I honestly had forgotten the game existed, LOL.

I guess this topic is getting too much offtop :D
But yes, stellar aeon is kinda paused, neither game itself, nor the client are updated.

Most of you probably recognise me by my nickname, but beyond that - who knows? Let's fix that, shall we? :)
My name's Dawid (you can also write it as David, no problem). By profession, I'm a programmer and CAD designer; by passion, a voracious reader and an enthusiast of quantum physics.
I'm also the president of Fundacja Prowadnica, an organisation that, among other things, oversees Elten. Our main goal is to develop tools for blind individuals and support visually impaired young people. Our primary tool is 3D printing. We collaborate with various schools and institutions both in Poland and abroad, doing our best to make the world a little more accessible. We also coordinate the Polish ICC group, organise accessibility training sessions, and much more.
I live in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, though I was born in Pomerania, by the Baltic Sea.
I'm (probably to an excessive degree) an avid reader, with Tolkien and Pratchett topping my list of favourite authors. Since we're already on the topic of British names, I might as well throw in my personal fascination with Middle English - Pearl is, to me, the most beautiful poem ever written.
Being a child I completed music school as a pianist. Music never quite became a central part of my life, but I still play from time to time, and I certainly don't regret having the skill - though I wouldn't call myself a particularly talented musician.
I'm always up for a chat about anything - from the superiority of quaternions over matrices in defining rotational parameters, to why I stubbornly stick with Firefox, all the way to cultural differences between our countries and how a blind person can safely carry out the chemical smoothing of PET-G using chloroform without poisoning themselves or the entire lab.

Most of you know the weird 15yo weirdo from germany. 2% vision left, started to play Goalball and I love it, singing in some kind of choir ish thing, etc. idk I'm not really a big fan of just writing down a ton of non relevant shit about me. Welcome @pajper! I will say it's rather interesting to know more about you, always just thought of you as the founder of elten which admittedly isn't entirely fare, but what can you do? We seem to share similar reading interests, so that's cool. Hope to see you round.
