Just so you know, for you folks using android I will just say one thing. Aple doesn't need to keep up with your 10 quadrillion MA battery capasities just because the IOS system is so light that it can hold up better than an Android with those 10 quadrillion MA.

I tried contacting my carrier to get this phone exchange but it’s some absolutely stupid 20 fucking day complicated return process and I don’t really feel like dealing with all that and I will try and use my phone how it is. So this topic can be closed I guess since I don't really need help with this issue anymore

aple? If you think you are so smart then please write at least apple right. And well, sure. If that would be the cais why would we have battery problems then?

Meh. Android just seems not well thought through from the system, plus my mother even got a virus on hers once she had one, idk how in the world but yeah. iPhone? Never the case. Idk if android ever again rather Samsung, not some random Chinese thing I have to check how to spell first and don't even know how to pronounce. Nah idk. Literally, actually with 2 l by the way, only thing I still like is that they still have a headphone jack or I believe they do, I might be wrong. Apple's already got rid of it with the iPhone 7, which was, imo, just stupid. Anyways, did you also realise that iPhones get updated much longer than Androids? There might be some companies that do it longer than others but this doesn't seem great either. But actually, I've just come to realise, isn't this all for the iOS vs. Android thread? There was a question about iPhone 15 and now it's just Apple getting bashed or thing A is not amazingly good thing B is so much better he he he! I remember we had a thread for this... Also, I had the same thing. First days wern't to great but I'm really ok with my 14. Not that I'm phone adicted either so it works more than long enough for me. And yeah. Why would we need 8 or 12 gb ram? it won't make a difference, iPhones can handle itself very well like this already, probably Mac's too but I was never a fan because I've got nothing to do on one.

as I said, cuz mine literally crashes when I scroll through TikTok and I have to reboot to get it working again. Then VO which just sometimes completely messes up, meh. Over all IOS is just fine yes, but those small things? I mean remember you payed over 700€ for this. And android has more power with less money.

Firstly, stop bashing android. Android is an operating system for different smart phones, such as google, samsung and others. For sure there are some chinese people which are producing phones. But there is a simple thing, if you don't trust chinese people then just don't buy a phone from them.
So my samsung from 2022 has still the headphones thing, though I don't know if also newer devices have that. To the outdated thing which you said, that's not really true. I still get software updated with my samsung galaxy a 72 which I have bought now almost two years ago. I started with android 9 or 10 and I am now on 14.
And even if that would be the case, it wouldn't be a that large problem as for iphones, as android devices are mostly much cheaper than iphones.

I'm sorry but android warned your mother at least three times about the risk. It's on her if she ignored.

I'm not bashing it, by your guys logic I just point out what I dislike. And wow, 4 years of software? Grately surprised, as older samsungs just had 2 years for example. At least some improvement. But then again, Samsung would on the other hand be what I'd buy if I'd need to go for android.
Also as for android being a system for many phones, that's not a reason that it's good. Windows 11 is a system for many many pc's, but honestly win11 sucks, miss good old windows 10, but anyways.

No. Otherwise I wouldn't have said it. I'm not saying dumm things to get attention, I say those things cuz they've been that way. She's not stupid. But glad we all entertain you so much though :) :D
PS: She didn't even download something, it was when she was normaly browsing web stuff and suddenly she had problems. But that's been a while ago since she has an iPhone 11 something since 3 years or so by now so.

Um, yup. Thats what I mean. Just had spotify open and went, even without voice over btw, in my app switcher, then swiped down for control center and bam, lagged/even froce and I had to completely do a soft reset. Hmmmmmm.
#52 Urh2006
Apple is bad for many things, but if I could install iOS on an Android phone I would get the Android for hardware. But seriously, Android needs much more battery capasity due to the quirkiness of the system itself.
#53 marchoffmann Konto zarchiwizowane
Broh what? Again 1 of those issues I never had on mine. What in the world is going on lol.
I wonder though, I have iOS 16.5, you have the newest iOS 17 point, 4.1 or so?

I haven't had such issues on my 13 Pro, but off topic again, oh well.

Yes, though that happened to me before too, like, in other versions. And even if I get a new version then I expect it to work, lol?
Yes, apple is maybe good for the software, and I am not sure if my crash happened based on soft or hardware problems, probably rather software, though still, for the price they expect you to pay thesedays you have to say its honestly, well. Could be better.
#56 Urh2006
I had all sorts of issues on my KitKat Android 4 Samsung Galaxy S4 mini.
#57 khalil2009
hmm very strange. I'm on ios 17.4.1 and never had any of these issue's you speek of
#58 ArcticMoon
Android 4... Are you serious?
You realise it's pretty old tech and the newest one is android 14?
Haven't you thought about the fact that since then, there are new standards?

Hmm. I wonder why so much people in this thread said the android batterys least longer than the IOS ones?

That's true as well. Urh, at this point please get informed before posting such bullshit. These posts from you are really idiotic, sorry but true.
It's even worse when considering that I posted in this thread that my phone is running on android 14 and he should have read it.
