As you probably know, on Monday iOS 18 Beta 1 releases. I downloaded it and so I thought I could do an Udio song about my experience with this beta. It's in German, but it sounds cool anyway. (I'm a german speaker, that's why I made it i German).

To those of you who asked how I prompted the mechanical keyboard thing, I basically wrote: A standup omedy about a kid in the library with a mechanical keyboard. I will say, sometimes it will make the comedy, and sometimes it will not. Sometimes you will have to prompt it a couple times for it to work.

I'm sorry I'm so late with raising this, but post 50 was not done with Udio. I'm pretty sure. It sounds more like suno, but it could also be sonauto or something else I don't know. But definitely not udio.

Yes, it's a feature for pro subscribers only, as they say on their website. They also say that they wanted to roll it out more broadly in the weeks to come, but they haven't done so yet. It's now exactly a month ago since the two minute model was launched. And what they mean with "pro subscriber" is subscribing to the "pro" plan, not subscribing to premium plans in general. Plans below pro don't give you the two minute model, unfortunately. I don't even know if that will ever come, as opposed to suno,, where they even made audio uploads free as of today.
