Braille music
Wróć do Culture and Art#1 Nikolatheserb
Greetings,
If anyone has any embossed scores of Braille music that he or she does not need any longer, I will be glad to receive them and give them a new home. I know people part from such things very rarely and unwillingly, but still, I thought I would make this thread anyway.

Oh it's so sad that I cannot send you anything from Russia.
I had studied in music school for 7 years and I have lots of braille scores.
Some of them are written by hand and contain mistakes and some of them are printed with a braille embosser and are in relatively good quality.

Oh, why can't you send anything from Russia? As far as Iknow, there is still traffic. If not with Montenegro, then with Serbia certainly, and I have many relatives there.

Oh, I'm so sorry I have a lot of Braille music here, but never emboss it since I always keep the TXT files on my Bralle display. If you'd also need that, of course then I could share a grown collection, but since you wrote embossed I don't believe you're interested.

Oh and just in case someone's interested and doesn't know already: There is software available to convert MusicXML into Braille notation - I as a choir participator and organist use that pretty often. More exact, you could use either Sao Mail Braille to get this done, or the online service makebraille provided by the German central library. Both are well maintained and popular under blind musicians.
