So I've been having a question, and no, it's not how to get ESpeak to work with VoiceView on the tablet. I have team talk on the fire tablet, and ESpeak reads chat messages on TT instead of Ivona, this is because I don't want VoiceView and TT to have to use the same resources at the same time, because then it will hold VoiceView back. the problem is, when I select ESpeak from the team talk TTS settings, and I have ESpeak use the same settings as it does on NVDA, but for some weird reason, I can't get ESpeak to use the British variant, even if I was to use Ivona Amy, it still uses the US variant. Do I have to mess with system languages or settings or region settings just to get ESpeak to use that specific variant? If I do have to, then scrue it! And no I am not getting Eloquence on the Amazon tablet, it's probably not even compatible anyway. Does anyone else have other workarounds or solutions? And not to mention that I can't even get commentary screen reader with ESpeak to use the British variant! It is so frustrating! And sorry to be picky but I don't want to have to mess with location or system settings not relating to TTS just to get it to work! Please, if anyone else has other solutions, please put it in this thread! Of course I know that the Amazon devices are not fully fledged Google android but still I shouldn't have to mess with region settings to get one TTS engine to use a different variant! It sounds stupid. Anyway I am done rambling!
