Hey guys. So I need a password manager where you can create secure random passwords and safe them, and can access them over your phone and over your computer. I don't want to use services wich are build in like googles password managing or Icloud key thing anymore, I don't trust them and as I said, I would like to access it on phone and PC and I don't use the same browser. It would enough for me if I just could copy it out. So if anyone has a recomendation, would be happy to hear.
I recommend 1password. I'm using it as both my primary password manager on iPhone and computer, across multiple browsers with autofill and copy for apps, and also as an SSH agent for logging into my servers. It's a subscription though. For something free, or at least self-hostable, there's also Bitwarden, which I know some people use.

Most Avast stuff isn't really accessible, I remember once trying Avast antivirus and it was not accessible with NVDA. TBH iCloud Keychain and Google password manager are actually secure, well they've got to be or they could get sued, so its better just to use them for accessibility and not having to fuck around setting up different extentions and shit.
avast is totally accessible. as for google and ICloud, yeah I think they're not caring of such "small" users like you, because if they would read passwords, what they don't do, they would rather look for bigger people with more mony or whatever.
If your a simple person like me, choose keepass, I don't care about flashy cloud featres, I just want my passwords stored in a db without much fuss.

KeyPass is also good yes. The trick with something like iCloud keychain is that it doesn't truly work across iOS and Windows. The iCloud password manager thing for Windows is specific to a given browser, and it's not a standalone app you can just copy from. iCloud accessibility on Windows, at least based on the actual UI of the application itself, is iffy. It's one of those early electron documents where nothing has state, only labels. Same thing with Google password manager, it only works in Chrome. Not chromium which would include Brave, but straight-up Chrome.
yea, dropbox is also offering something, but idk if that is actually practicable and accessible.

That is what I mean. Its actually working on one device, but not accross.
