If you have a keyboard with a numpad--, press alt+shift+nunlock to activate a numpad mouse. That should solve your issue.

Hello.

Thanks for the tip with the mouse.
As it seems, the system checks, if a mouse is connected and if not, crashes. This tip was worth 1000 gold.

hi again.

When opening the server list, the game shows just the html code of a web page. Seems, if the online server list is no longer maintained?
Where can I find active servers?

I know chris has some. Address is christopherw.me, ports are 5678, 6789 and 7890 for deathmatch, teamdeathmatch and lms (last man standing.).

There's also an updated fork of rtr made by @brynify on mastodon that has removed mouse support and updated some server stuff. It can be found at:
https://brynify.me/files/RTR.7z

I've contacted Chris earlier this morning to see if he'd be able to either send me updated maps or update th server to the fork that Bryn wrote, so we'll see what happens.
