A seriously pissing off ishue regarding nvda crashes

So recently since more than a week, whenever I unlock my laptop, I have a very big chance that nvda suddenly decides to go o ya know, bye bye and I have to restart it every single time I unlock it, and slowly this is just getting annoying. Or, when I unlock it on my school comp, there I just get a weird window called lockapp. Ehh.

What add-ons do you have? It could be one or more add-ons causing the issue.
#3 marchoffmann
Stuff like resource monitor, voices, all that stuff which never caused any ishues before so idk
#4 Mckensie
I don't have that problem. You might wanna check for windows updates, chances are it'll fix that.
#5 marchoffmann
In fact I heard recent windows updates broke things
#6 thespyde
Oh well, if something gets messed up in Windows you can use Winaero Tweaker. There are a huge bunch of tweaks in there.
#7 Jonathan
What is that?
#8 thespyde
It's a program that brings up a list of tweaks to Windows that you can choose to implement, or not. Some of them deal with stuff I know nothing about so I don't do those tweaks. I restored the context menu so I could do stuff like open with and such. The program works for Win 7 through 11 if I understand correctly.
#9 marchoffmann
Sounds cool.
#10 Mckensie
Fun fact, if you want to change the windows startup sound, to that one person who asked in the forum, you can use winaero tweaker, it works.
#11 thespyde
I'm more concerned with a shutdown sound, but not enough of a priority to get some sort of script that writes to the scheduler or whatever.
#12 neptune
My nvda doesn't crash upon launch but just randomly, out of nowhere it will.
#13 cyrmax
The program was very cool for me and I even tweaked my explorer start screen to remove unneeded stuff like pictures, 3d objects folders and to add some shortcuts like my yandex disk, directory with projects, etc.
But few months ago i have switched to total commander and so now don't need any of these tweaks.
The only problem with WAT is that it sometimes behaves very laggy with NVDA, especially when switching tweaks categories.

@marchoffmann
@neptune
If you issue any crashes, switch nvda logging to debug level, restart, try repeating the bug several times and submit a bugreport to NVDA's github repository.
And btw what are your nvda versions? latest? alpha or something older?
#15 marchoffmann
Yes, latest.
#16 cyrmax
So go on and report a bug issue.
-- (marchoffmann):
Yes, latest.

I don't feel like that right now honestly. I rather want a fix and I doubt this is what an update could fix soon. Especially if just me.
#18 thespyde
yes, I've noticed the lag sometimes with Winaero Tweaker and NVDA.
#19 marchoffmann
Well I don't have that installed
#20 cyrmax
But if you do not report a bug how they make a fix for that?
