Okay, so for the longest time, I have been an android lover, but as of the passed few months, I am starting to hate it, so it all started when I got my pixel, everything was fine and dandy accept I wasn't able to use the eloquence synthisyser, that is until my friend daniel nash helped me root my phone, but tonight, my phone upgraded itself to android14, and after it upgraded, It was using google tts even after a few restarts of talkback, I went into my speech settings, only to see eloquence missing! so I will be stuck with google tts for quite some time, If I knew of a crack for acapela, I would use the arabic voices for everything, but the only known crack quit working ages ago.

Well, this is why I use IOS, Eloquence is built in, plus IOS is better in terms of stability and stuff.

also my phone has still eloquence but I don't know on wich android version I am right now.

Well, I have some good news. I was talking to some people on discord, and one person told me that someone on the blind android users telegram was working on porting Dectalk to android, so you won't be in the dark for hopefully not too much longer. it may have to be sideloaded, but, come on, it's dectalk! Maybe a replacement for eloquence. Besides, dectalk lasted longer, so, yeah.

#8

and its happening again, phone must have updated or something, because when I checked it one day, it was using google tts with no traces of eloquence, and it refusing to install. if anyone has voice data for the acapela tts for android, could you send me nizar and some other voices?

tbh dectalk is overrated imo. at least the german voices. I don't like them.

exactly my thoughts.

Well you can't just jump to conclusions. I actually know some people that would rather use dectalk rather than Google TTS, so your point is invalid.
