Which is a best Audacity version?

The current version is the best, has the most bugs fixed, whatever. It is, as of this writing, 2.3.0.

I love Audacity!
It grew and expanded along with me.
I learned so much fro it on my own thanks to testing, I can never explain how sentimental this programme is for me.
I think i can do almost everything, but trying to find the plugin for auto tune for Audacity.

What exactly do you mean?
I would recommend presing shift+A, waiting for the end of the thing you wanna delete, then shift home, and delete.
Sometimes it doesn't work, and you have to prezz conrol Z, and try again

What do you learn, so what can you do in the Audacity?

Well, press home, and two mode is working maybe -, depends on from version:
1. Press space, and on the wished place, press the key, which is beside from p with one, and when you would like finish the selection, press that the key, which there is with two beside the p.
2. Stop the playing, with space, when you started the play, and press shift+right, if it must, with more occasion, and you check the selected section with space -, this the variant is requires practice, but if someone can use, then she/he will do well.

Yes, usually this the operation doesn't working, then press ctrl+z, and try again.

I tried shift a and shift home and then delete. It sais no audio is selected.

I think the only way to do it is with the bracket keys, marking the beginning and end of the part you want to act on, then doing the action. This is why I like Studio Recorder. Ah well, carry on.

You have a different verson derrick, i had the samewhen i tried to do tis on a different version.

If you found anything out, please let me know. I'm trying to find tutorials on gogle but it's all about the mouse and on youtube. Videos are not what we need

I did a sample recording and tried to edit out the first of it using the left and right brackets. I got prompts saying what I was selecting and thought I was actually accomplishing something, but when I tried to perform a delete, I was told no audio was selected. I understand some people can use Audacity but not me, not for audio editing of any kind.

I have there the same problem as Charles. It keeps saying that no audio is selected.
