Looking for a better version of the AT&T Natural voices

Hi,
I'm currently searching for the AT&T Natural voices Crystal, Lauren and Mike. I have the V 5.1 voices used in Zabaware TTS 2.0, but these voices, to put it politely, sound like hot garbage on a cold paving slab.
If anyone knows where I can get better sounding versions of these voices, that would be hugely appreciated!

I tried installing them from the zip provided in the Internet Archive, and I get error creating keys in registry, like what the hell, come on Windows, sheesh!

Try running as admin or setting the compatibility mode of one of the installers to Windows 7 or something to see if that works. Thanks for the follow on Mastodon By the way.

You're welcome, I tried that and it kinda acted stupid, acted as if it installed, but the voice didn't show in SAPI

um? why you would want have a worse voice than the one which is awayable?

The reason is very simple. I want to try it anyway because I want to hear the difference.

imo post 1 explayns that very well.

unfortunately, most of the bad voices arn't archived on the internet anymore, and if I remember correctly, they might have been taken down.

What do the atnt voices work on in windows 10.
They crash on just about anything I try to use them on, nvda especially?
Is there a way to install them on win 10 without them crashing on things?
