Completely agreed with Kaito here. This condescending tone needs to go. Those 3 to 5 people were only allowed to get to the hights which they did because of falty moderation, not because the community is inherently broken or something.

I know afew Discord Servers of Polish influencers. Their potential mods started in a kind of competition to get a mod and they were only happy to help. Noone would ever say about any salary, even if the community was much larger and, let's say it directly, more difficult to deal with.

I agree with Pajper here. Moderators are usually volunteers. In such a small community, it's almost like a joke to talk about salary for moderators. If it was even a discord server with a hundred thousand members, I'd understand. But here, when you need to take care about a few dozens of people, it makes no sense.

Exactly, that's what I mean. Although there are very large and popular discord servers with more than 300 thousand members, if I was a modeerator of such a thing then I'd understand the concern. But like this, no way.

Okay. I say it be dealt like this. Whoever the most problematic people for the community are, get rid of them. Although not with prior explaination, I don't advocate for banning just because we can, or just because we don't like someone's views and opinions. Second, I think the people saying we need more mods are right. That, or the current ones should be more active, but we also need to take into account they've got their own personal lives, so if anyone isn't as busy and is willing to put in the time, then they should be considered and evaluated.

I think I also told you that yesterday personally. I'd still say we make an entire new team, change up this groups structure etc. And we should choose well.

I mean, if they haven't been active for months, yeah. There's no point in having inactive moderators

Honestly? The more I follow this topic the more I think the mod team here should be reformed. Nuno is absent and as for Arctic moon? All I'm getting is condescention rather than a willingness to work with the community to build a stronger one together and a willingness to downplay some of her own issues and instead amplifying/flat out pushing unwarrented blame onto the community. In addition there's also been a lack of transparency. To this date none of the questions myself, Tunmi or Marc asked were answered. Again instead what we got was finger pointing and condescention. Hell, I actually wrote this post before her previous message and it turns out that she vindicates some of my points. People are well within their rights to express their frustration or dislike for the current team, in the same way you spent 50 something posts a few days ago expressing your frustration with Elten in general. So I'm going to pose the same question I did in the other topic;
"Is it the case of one standard for me and another for you?"
I'm not sure if others will agree with me but that's what I've seen so far.

Not to mension, this what you call shit throing is sadly the truth. If you still get afended by that, please do not bother. I have said, easily readable that this shouldn't be taken like that. I agree with lots that was said on this thread. Clearly, if a thread with literally 300 or so posts of just straight childish arguing wasn't dealt with as fast as it should've been, that's a huge indicator of we need more, or better people.
