Winamp player has come up with a new version. There is not much difference with the former player except for the fact that it will work better for Windows 10 users. In 2019, Winamp will come up with a bright new version with tons of radio stations and Podcasts. For further information, go to the Web Site, http://www.winamp.com AOL used to be the owner of Shoutcast and Winamp. In 2014, Shoutcast was sold to the Belgian company, Radionomy and for 4 years Winamp was somewhat left for what it was. In 2019, the player would really come back to life.
I freaking love winamp. Although I don't really use it any more mainly cause I don't listen music on my computer it's still great. Glad that it's getting updated.
I am fearing that we are approaching the end of Winamp. Just moment's ago, I checked the Winamp Web site and it's completely gone. I hope it may come back but I really doubt it. Sad to say, but I think we are approaching the end of another good player.
I don't like Groove or Windows Media Player. I don't even like the one I'm using but Winamp is dying, has been for awhile. They sent out contradictory messages, saying, out of one side of their mouth that there was gonna be a new version sometime later this year, and out of the other, saying this is not an ongoing project.
I'm still using winamp, but it seams foobar2000 is really good player, and, by the way, foobar has, I know sounds strange, but yes, foobar music quality is better.
Groove music is just a piece of crap. Use foobar2000 or VLC media player, or even Media player classic but not groove music for sure.
I would have preferred Winamp but that choice was ripped away from me by this PC gagging on it for whatever reason. No amount of uninstalling and cleaning out the remaining files helped either.
