Restart and shutdown options not appearing in windows11

Well what the title says. Since I upgrated to win11, all I can find when pressing alt f4 is sleep, sign out or switch user. Any way to fix that?

If this is the case, chances are your PC has updates which need to be installed, at least from my experience. You need to use the start menu to get that sorted.

Or it could be some program messed about with that. But i don't know.

O yes, it actually did install an update and it helped. Od.

this is a command. enter it in windows+r run window and you will shutdown your computer

I just got a new laptop with windows 11. I had the same issue, and it turns out it was because I needed to update. (At least that is what I expearienced.)

I had the same problem like Marc with my laptop yesterday. Onetime it made autoupdates and then it got fixed itself.

When I want to shut down my computer or put it to sleep, I press Windows, X. The options for shutting down and signing out are towards the bottom of the menu.

Just press windows+x and u u then the computer will shut down, that is the fastest way to shut down your computer.

Windows+X, Double U, finish It
