I don't see the add-on, or don't know what it's called so I don't know for what to seek.

Never mind, I found it. NeuralVoices.

Yeah. it's more understandable but their is a like 40ms delay before anything it speaks. So sense I play a lot of games, I can't use it. I kept it installed though.

Update, the addon got an update. Same place as before.

I'll try it again then. I hope the crashing got fixed.

If it still doesn't work, uninstall NVDA, destroy your configuration in the app data folder, reinstall as if it were new, and there you are!

Uh, honestly I don't would want to remove my config just for a tts. Just gonna say.

I only meant for that one person who was having problems to reset NVDA completely. I get why you guys wouldn't but I wanted to clarify that if it still didn't work, try reinstalling NVDA as well as resetting it new to see if that worked.

So far so good on the updated version of Neural Voices.

Sometimes it tends to stop reading if a post here is quoted in a reply, but that's the only problem I see at the moment.

So apparently these voices can now be used on android.

Got the addon to run successfully in a windows11 vm with a beta version of nvda2024 since my host runs windows10 and nvda2023.3 and I hav no intention of upgrading because my configuration will die.
