hi guis, this thread is for older voices such as microsoft tts, l&h tts, dectalk, and some other tts voices that are super easy or super hard to find,. for the first set of voices, if i am not mistaken, this version of dectalk came out around 1994, these microsoft voices came out in 1995, and this was the last version of eloquence that came out in 2002
the l&h tru voices came out in 1998, at least the version attached, the sapi5 version came out in 2001 when they were acuired by scansoft, and the windows xp tts voices, sam, mike, and merry, though they are in the sapi4 version, the sapi5 version came out in 2001.
at&t flextalk came out in 1998, only the keeth bell voice shows up on modern versions of windows, so if you want to use the kerry watson voice, windows xp or earlyer recomended. these voices are nostalgic for me as i used these quite a bit back in 2019, what a better time period.
