Someone messaged me last night. I replied to them but do not see a place that I can see their user profile from messages. Is there some way to do this?
Also, I know you can hit shift+F9 to see who is online and then go to context menu to see their profile.
but what if you want to view a users profile who is offline? Is there a way to do that?
Thanks again as always,
John

Just probably go to recently active users on the community menu and users then go to the user that you want to see the visiting card.
If you add a user to your contacts list, you can see their visiting card if they are offline.
I have less to ask when I join this program, one or two things have to ask and the rest of them I can figure out myself.

I had tuns to ask, and my thinking is that maybe all of the questions I have asked will help new users.
Not everybody is able to figure everything out on their own, and that is ok.
While there is a file which explains everything, sometimes you just wanna do that one thing.
Some people like to figgure out everything on their own, and others prefer handholding. STill others prefer to ask questions as things come up. Neither approach is wrong in my view.

Having said that, I was able to go to comunity, users, and found something called user search and had the spelling of the user name. but I just wondered if there was a more direct way from messages.

You can click on that users form post and you can click on their name and then you can see there visiting card.

What if they don't post on forums though?
