NVDA successfully working on wine

Hello all,
I have finally been able to get NVDa to read BGT games using wine. to set this up, you need a few dependencies. riched30, riched20, msaa and speechsdk. You also need the old nVDA 2017.3 setup that nV access are still providing. You just need to install that in the prefix your dependencies are in, and once the setup completes, there will be an error but you can ignore it, kill all the NVDA processes that are left over from the setup. Then, run wine start nvda and go through the welcome dialog. Then you can launch a BGT game and NVDA will read it just fine. A note though, state changes aren't supported, so if you check a check box NVDA won't say checked, but it will check itself and you can tab and shift tab back to it and NVDA will report the changed state. Some credit goes to stormdragon2976 from the audiogames.net forum for figuring out the dependencies needed to get this to work in the first place.

Thank you very much, this is amazing! I also partly listened your audio demonstration you posted in the english forums. As NVDA's installation GUI at least is partly accessible, I suppose this works with other Windows apps too? Would be cool to have stuff like Foobar2000 or my RadioBoss available in Linux.

I tried with RS games, and it's not there yet to any extent. sure, NVDA will read stuff the DLL is sending to it, but it won't read edit fields and buttons properly and this act can slow down the game, and yeah it's not a fun experience. In the future it might be a thing though, since they're focusing more on UI stuff recently.
