Hey everyone,
Samuel here, with another one of his technical questions. Well sort of. lol Anyway, My precalculus course has the class textbook available on the canvas site for the class. Unfortunately, the book is in pdf format. I was able to find the same book on LibreTexts under the precalculus bookshelf of the mathematics section. Second short coming? Not all the sections that we need are in that version. I mean, for standard algebra and trig topics it should be fine. However at the very end of the algebra portion of the course we will be looking at sequences, rather than Conic sections, the chapter that is listed on the LibreTexts version of the book. I mean, its really only one section we will be looking at, but things are starting to be a little off.
So I wonder. Is there a pdf solution that can actually tackle mathematical equations properly? I have bookworm, but I am not sure how well the math will render. I just want to use the same textbook the same class is using so I do not have to work with this formatting crap. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
