I only go on private servers, I never really cared of its popularity, especially when drama became stupid and a waste of time for me, which has been often associated with the public servers. I have a couple private servers where my friends go and we meet on there regularly, Discord is probably better for larger gatherings and more specific chats.
I go only on private servers too. actually the one is a german server, the other is a bit messed up, sometimes it's a place to meet english dudes but sometimes, and recently mostly, to meet german people.
uh, I will just not comment the german TT Servers to much, private or public, they are, pretty much garbage, in administration, the users, well everything :p. And yeah, idk, I for my part actually just go on my private which is mixed english and german and maybe on one english private... thats it.

A lot of you guys think that TT is full of drama.
That's not exactly the case for me.
I think it really just depends on the server.

It depens, inded. Honestly, I have three tt servers in my server list, the last one is my own hosted and sadly death, the second one is from a friend and down since a month or two, the first one is a server on which there are basically the most germans. I have problems with users on it sometimes, and honestly I wish I could create a german tt server and sort out members I don't want without a huge discussion. On the other side, everything has to work somehow if I want stay there, so I stay there. I have no english server besides my own one on which I invite only one guy, actually. :P I don't know if that is good or not.
Sad, but all these german TT's are absolute garbage. I had times when I went to 1 english more or less private, but people on there where, um, yeah. Kinda weird over all and I don't have contact with the organiser anymore. So for now I'm just having my private hosted, the fire gaming one which is down I think, and yup, thats, actually it.
Shall I bring back FunPlace and let's ride? For anyone that doesn't remember, FunPlace was a server which in ashort time did atract quite many people but it ended just as fast, like most other servers. There are absolutely zero rules besides spamming, just use your common sense, don't be an idiot and we have no problems with you.
I only go to my private server, sometimes weeks can go by without anyone connecting, but then there are the 8 or 9 of us who have an account there talking for hours.
I use only private servers made by my friends, or the only public one I sometimes visit is Tiflogames. It's a russian server so anyone who doesn't speak the language might get a bit lost, but the experience is overall good, even if I'm not russian myself, only speak the language.

Yea, i heared about Tiflo games, btw i really like russian servers because of their structured channels, fixed times for various events etc.. Unfortunately i don't speak Russian so not visiting any. I wanted to learn this language because i also like it, but there was no time, and noone who can learn me few years ago when i wanted to do whatever in the life ;)

Yeah they are so well organized and to be honest we could learn from their community a lot. I mean, they really keep together and if there's some kind of a drama, they solve everything adequately. Because of the community keeping together so well, they can have events in which they participate all together. It's cool in my opinion. They are also very friendly with people, who only learn russian, they don't say a word if you say something wrong.
