me too about the toxicity thing.

I'm sorry for you. But why did she want to be with him in the first place? I don't get why that event happened in the first place.
#23 damien-rainey
apparently, for her, it's all about location. i'm in south carolina, US, and she's in New York, US.
#24 damien-rainey
and the ex is somewhere in the middle, but more toward her end.
#25 marchoffmann
Wow. I actually don't think she loved you that far then. Maybe sounds harsh but must be
#26 damien-rainey
i agree.

It's very sad, to be honest. If someone, then I absolutely understand your pain. I had a boyfriend, with whom we were together for a year and a half, and then he spent a weekend with his previous classmate and, ehm, we can say ex from time to time. They kissed eachother and hell knows what else, and then I made a painful choice, left him because it wasn't the first time happening, and not the second either. Nowadays that he sees me happy, he wants me back, but I just can't trust anymore. I'm perfectly happy with someone who I love by whole heart, even if we are really far from eachother.

And this is what I mean. If you really love, distance just makes that love grow in another way.
#30 damien-rainey
exactly.

i've been down that road before too. the sad part is that it's happened to me so much that i've become desinsitized to it, and the only thing i felt when it happened was i was shocked for a while, and then i was fine. i'm looking for someone who gets me, doesn't judge me, and is very gentle. with me, because my heart is so scarred, that if someone makes the wrong move and destroys it, then i will be essentially left with nothing except an empty cavity where my heart used to be, metephorrically speaking, of course.

i think not having a physical connection made it a little easier to get over her. i imagine it would really suck if me and her had the physical part.
#33 marchoffmann
For sure. Because imagine if you were used to hug and all that stuff, knowing those moments would be lost forever can be like a hit that completely kicks you out of the way for a while. On the other hand, I imagine distant relationships way more unstable, especially if it's online.

she just messaged me a couple minutes ago on whatsapp and accused me of blocking her, and i told her to leave me alone, saying that she's damaged me enough.
#35 techboy
There was something that happened and... how do I say this? so there's this person in this class and i need to tell her something but idk how to tell her and ugh this is hard to talk about
#36 techboy
basicly what I am asking from you guys is. How do I tell her?
#37 marchoffmann
@post 34 wow I'm sorry. But you've done the right choice. Stay strong.
#38 marchoffmann
@techboy, if this is just since a day or a few, wait a little. You're quite young still and there's a difference between love as a child and love as a teen if I can say that. If you're really sure about it, be honest. Try to not studder, tell her the truth. It is hard but not impossible.
#39 techboy
yeah, this is going on for a few months now, and idk how to tell her though what do i say.

Be yourself. Don't think about how to behave, how to act cool or anything. Speak it out, alone and be only yourself. Because she's likely gonna notice if you're behaving differently.
