alright so nice that there is a problems voice trade I mean there are topics first there were all kinds of problems this topic was meant for all kinds of problems at first I would assume if we look at the first post but no that's not what I was after I think this is I think I will just post this here since it's in the voice form of the development group and the problems you might hear already what I'm after recordings when you record a voice post now with the current version of Elton there is crackling a considerable amount of crackling depending on the microphone I guess for me my microphone isn't as bad as other microphones but I think it is an Elton bug someone has reported this in the German forum before and so indeed there is this crackling going on don't know where it comes from but I hope there is a fix for it so just to let you know about that one alright take care

I hope I didn't hear any crackling when I'm trying to record a voice post seems like I'm sounding normal with just my microphone from my computer

Well guys, here's another test, because Elton apparently doesn't seem to like certain sample rates. There was some guy that tried out different stuff, and apparently Elton doesn't like 44 kHz, but when he said to 48 kHz, that fixed the bug. So let's see if it does for me now. Switched my microphone to 48 kHz, and hopefully this will fix the problem. But I wish... I mean, 44 kHz really shouldn't be a problem. It didn't used to be a problem, but it now is. Like if 48 kHz now works, well fine. I will stick to it, but yeah. Yeah. Let's just see here.

Yep, sure enough, that's working. As you can tell, it is working. So, I guess Elton just now has a problem with 44 kHz, or anything in that realm of, like, 22 kHz, 44, anything in that kind of realm of numbers. But, like, 48, or something, should be right. Alright.

oh by the way some guy also reported that it does not happen in voice calls so it only happens in the forum and it only happens with 44 kilohertz and its subdividers like 22 kilohertz or 11 you know like 48 kilohertz and anything else in that realm like 20 like 32 or something 16 but I don't know those are all working but 48 kilohertz in the 44 kilohertz in a voice forum post Elton doesn't seem to like that very much for some reason I don't know why so yeah I just switched to 48 now and we'll try to cope with that but hopefully we can fix that 44 kilohertz problem the crackling you

Okay, this is a test for sampling rate for 8 kHz. Kinda sounds like I'm... Kinda sounds like a recording back in the 80s.
