Hi, this is Karen Medias and I have a little question. It seems like I have installed the Microsoft Speech API version 4 because it shows up in my NVDA menu but if I click on it, it says it has an error and Klango detects no voices in SAP 4. So, I think there are no voices installed. And there were ones with Microsoft Mike, Microsoft Mary and Microsoft Sam of course. And Microsoft Mike and Mary had this variant. So, in space, in hall, for telephone and such. I am currently searching those. Do you know where I can get those? Because that would be really nice. And I want to get them for some kind of experience. And I don't want to install a Blackstock recording software for that because the Blackstock recording software includes this. But I don't want to install that only for that. So, please, if you know where I can get them, please say it to me. Thank you.

So now I need the sepi4 component because I installed the IBM via voice now and it even doesn't work or the installation worked but it doesn't show up and still has the error. So it seems to be a problem with the sepi4 component. Is there a way to get this? Because now this seems to be missing or broken or whatever.

If you're talking about Microsoft Mary, Mike, and Sam, and all these voices, you can get them from either grossgang.com, D-R-O-S-S-G-A-N-G.com slash tech TTS. And there, under SAP, under the SAPI Voices folder, you find MSTTSR, MSTTS something. I don't know, there are plenty of MSTTS files. It doesn't really matter which one of them you pick, but yeah, so that's how you can get those. I don't know why your VIA voice does not work, because I tried it on this computer multiple times, and it actually does for me. Maybe because I'm using it with different Windows, I mean, I'm using Windows 7, but Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, and at any rate, it works for me. I don't know why it does not work on your system, because especially with Windows 7, it should work fine. But I remember having SAPI 4 working. On Windows 10, so it actually, but it's, but I have to admit, I think that is really a Windows 10 bug that is actually a bit unstable. It's more stable on Windows 7, but it does work, but it's a bit buggy, a bit unstable. So anyway, yeah. Yeah, that's... My contribution to this thread.

So I don't think the voices have problems. I think the voices are all installed. But the sappy driver totally broke. So I need this one again and I need to remove the old one. And that's already a problem because I don't find the old one. It isn't in the program folder. I don't know where it is located. So the old sappy driver seems to have a problem. Thank you for watching!

Hmm, this is highly interesting this because what I can say to this is, when it comes to TTS voices in general, all I've used on, all I've been using on mainly Clango and Elton are Sapphire 5 voices. Because, I don't know, I don't know why, but when it comes to Sapphire 4, not that I still use the voices anymore, but it should, maybe the drivers should probably be in, well, they're probably in the Windows System 32. Folder, which I highly recommend you be careful going in there, but yeah, because, I don't know, someone told me it was in Windows System 32, but I don't know, I just go along with what people tell me.

one might be the killerdude, but problem sorting is at a serious level!

You have to remember, I think I don't want to use them in an application because then I even can't solve them on CEPI-5. No. I want to make something like stories with speech synthesizers. And I want to use CEPI-4 with that because, first of all, all voices have these effects. So you don't need to, for example, the telephone effects. So you don't need to make them by yourself. And second thing is that I want to use D-speech because D-speech can write with symbols. Or text to switch voices or something like this. But I can only do this for CEPI-4. So I have to use CEPI-4 for that. I can even write with CEPI-text by myself in Bella Broca. But then I first have to learn them, which is not a problem because I already can them. But second, I have to look how every voice is spelled and I am way too lazy to do this. So I do it by myself. And also because CEPI-5 doesn't have the telephone effects.

uh guys there's also like there is the sepi 4 version but there is also a full setup like it just has the normal variants of sam marion mike it's called winxpttsvoices.exe and if you install that you're just gonna install some directories and some stuff and get them for sepi 5 i have them for a few years

yeah i would also like to get these voices because i remember like when i used plextalk recording software um i believe the voices these voices were also installed so or it may be a mistake but i remember there were a lot of variants of uh not only mary mike and sam that are like normal voices but there were also mary mike and sam like for different quality like 16 cage that there is also a whisper voice so i would also like to get that and as far as gross gang i found only cp5 version of these voices but they didn't work.
